If it fits, it fits. Meaning unless you are racing, you won't notice a whole lot of difference between different CAIs. It's just a metal tube from your Intake MF to your wheel well. Even if its not metal, its not a huge difference. It'll be better than OEM either way.

That is what I figured, I mean will all the hoses and approprate tubing fit from my stock intake tube to this intake ??

As long as it fits to your intake manifold, nothing else really matters that much.

If it fits that intake should work very well, thank your girlfriend for being thrifty!
One thing I would do though is change the filter, I have heard great things about the Injen/Amsoil filter, or the AEM DryFilter. At the very least get a pre-filter like the one Injen offers
