Get in car.
Close door.
Put foot on brake.
Push and hold the "reset" button for the odometer.
Turn car to "on" position. Do not start it.
wait 5 seconds. It should go away.
(and please, if anybody notices that I got the steps wrong, PLEASE correct me. I was just going off of memory...)

Its on page 63 of your owner's manual.
1)Push select/rest button.
2)Insert the key and turn the ignition on.
3)Hold the knowb for ~10 secs till the indicator resets.
Good luck, fella.

Are you sure that you hold the right button for long enough? I mean it worked for me at least once since I purchased my car.

You need to hold down on your brake. I spent an hour figuring why it didnt work and realized i forgot to hold the brake down from start of getting in the car.
