Glad to hear that everything is working great now! It took awhile to get everything working but it sounds like all is good now. Enjoy man!
Thanks Kenny! Yeah, it was a frustrating (and not to mention a little costly) road getting this to work properly, but I'm really happy now that it's right. Driving to work in the morning (cool air temp) is now one of my favorite things to do...

Question: Why has someone not investigated doing an aftercooler, ala the ford lightning, where it's an air to water unit, that sits between the compressor and the manifold? It would have to stack it up a little... however I think it would meet most individuals demands.

Other than that, glad to hear it's fun. I ran my turbo setup on my 98 for 2+ years, sold it, and it's still out running around. -So enjoy it, is what I'm trying to say.

Comptech made a couple of prototype aftercoolers like that for their RSX-S application. They scrapped the project when dyno results only showed something like a 12* temperature reduction for a unit that would retail for $2k.

There is an intercooler kit that has been in development for quite a while now by Redshift Motorsports for both the Comptech and JR S/C kits. It's now in the test phases for the RSX guys and from what it sounds like, the results have been excellent.

I inquired about an intercooler setup a few months back, but the price was a bit prohibitive since at the time, it would have to be a custom one-off build. However, when it's officially released (hopefully in the next few months), I'll be the first one in line .

Cool. Sounds good to me... I would be interested in a supercharger setup, but I'd like to run at least 10psi... to have fun with boost 15+ is a really nice round number... but 10 would be fun too. So, hearing that a aftercooler that's air to water is in the works that is actually beneficial would be awesome.

Hopefully engine managment matures for the cu2 in the next 2~3 years... then I'll look at the different options. (huge turbo fan though)
