thats true. i figured the way the gas treatment works is the chemicals should be safe since it is of petroleum distillates and probably increases the combusting temperature of the gasoline. normally the higher the octane the higher temperature it will burn at. ever had those time when you were younger and your parents would say they got better gas mileage with premium than regular? well thats cuz the car runs on low octane and putting high octane would take the engine longer to burn the fuel! so thats my input on it. i will try to find more info on it though cuz for my driving (Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale) it isn't a short drive (220Miles) one way so its helpful to me and i've yet to have a problem. i dont always use it though just a note.
