Injen Intake Filter

Hi everyone,

I just received my intake, and I'm pumped to install it.

But the filter seems dry. Should I oil it up before putting it up? The filter element is also blue. Does that mean its a dry filter?

Thanks!

Jon.

Assuming you bought your Injen intake new, it comes pre-oiled. If you bought it used, you'll probably want to oil it.

I replaced my Injen oiled filter with an AEM Dryflow filter because I got sick of dealing with the oiling process.

I put mine in in September, and cleaned it last night for the first time... I got a TON of dirt out of it... can't wait to put it back on the car (it's still drying) and see how much better it breathes.
