Comptech SC problem
Hello I'm also having problems with my SC kit. Everything was installed correctly. We tried everything from timing to iVTEC,VTEC and the car has less HP than before SC.
Mods:
Injen CAI

Exhaust
No cat
We use Unichip
Any suggestion?
Maybe some sensor?

Your using Unichip to tune? What kind of air/fuel ratios are you getting?
Can the unichip control the cam angle?

Yes it can control till 20 degrese. 12:1 ratio i think I'm not sure
I should ask the tuner. But we have no clue what could be wrong.
I had like 220Hp before SC and now I have less. 215 hp
I'll ask the tuner so I can post.
Everything confirmed.

Check your belt tension and hook up a boost gauge to make sure you're making proper boost.
What's your a/f look like? Hopefully you got that with your dyno printout (unlike me!)
What's Unichip? Can it properly control cam changeover, fuel delivery, boost, and clamp the MAP signal? Why don't you have some kind of ECU reflash? That's included in the price of the Comptech S/C...
Edit: What Octane fuel are you using? Did you change sparkplugs when installing the S/C?

Yeah, try to get more specifics on unichip. I'm not sure if it can control cam angle and that is very important in our engine.
Have you ever thought for running K-Pro?
There is a guy with an Accord that made his own adapter harness. I think he sells it too. Look for his name on K20a.org

I got everything with the SC kit but I'm from Europe and I can't get a reflash. And I can control everything u can with KPro. Tommorow I'll post all the plots. It is 0,4 bar(6 psi). 100 Octabe here in Slovenia. And we changed the sparkplugs.

Also do you have a dyno before the S/C, or are you just guessing you had 220hp?
(I made 200whp on the dyno last week too, which I'm hoping is just caused by having had a faulty knock sensor putting the car in limp mode+CEL).

Do you know what kind of dyno it is? (Dynojet, Mustang, etc)
Different dynos read high/low compared to others. I think Dynojet's the most common baseline, and Mustangs read a lot lower than that.
Your problem sounds a lot like what I was experiencing, honestly. Every run would be nearly identical in terms of torque (which was where it should be, give or take a few lb-ft), but HP was all over the place, and never over 200whp.

Mustang dyno. It can read 1200HP
Mustang MD250.
If we do 5 runs they are all different. It's not like 2-3Hp it's like 20 and more.

If it was a Mustang, then you're right where you should be with a supercharger in terms of WHP. 210-215 on a Mustang is going to be closer to 250whp on a dynojet (DAYTA or Kenny, correct me if I'm wrong).
What I'd be concerned about is the different readings each dyno run.
No, I haven't been back on the dyno since replacing the knock sensor. I plan to run again next week (possibly on Saturday, though) and see what I get.
