Is it true? I know the CAT is. Dont know about the piping and exhaust.

its wider by a few millimeters. Search Hondata's page to be sure. I think its like 7 MM wider in diameter.

The 06 TSX has the following improvements:

Increased intake flow:

Intake valve + 1 mm oversize
Intake cam High lift lobe with 0.9 mm more lift and 12 degrees more duration
Throttle body increased from 60-64mm
Radius on some intake pipes increased from 70-80mm
Increased exhaust flow

Exhaust Head pipe increased from 60-65mm
Higher flow catalytic converter
Main (single) exhaust pipe increased from 54-57mm
Rear (twin) pipes increased in diameter from 42.5 to 45mm

Yeah, Not sure if its worth it switching to 06-08 exhaust from cat - muffler.

If they can be had for a steal of a price - go for it!

If you plan of switching to an after market exhaust later on, don't bother!

Rear (twin) pipes increased in diameter from 42.5 to 45mm.

If you are looking for aftermarket it is good to know the above specs! That way you do not end up getting more restrictive tubing.
