If you want the "best in gain", you should look into a real Race Header. There's Mugen, Maxim, Hytech, T1R and several others. The Hytech Exhaust system (from header all the way to cat back) will give you the BEST gain so far, the quality is top notch but you have to wait due to limited production. It is the best if you are looking to pair w/ Hondata K-Pro.

chuson.... no T1R header lol
T1R only has test pipe + exhaust for the TSX
and ya +1 on Maxim!!!!

All you need for Hytech exhaust system is time and money. If you have both go ahead, you won't regret it. You will see DRAMATIC gains if you pair w/ K-Pro, I call that dream come true.

So it's not really beneficial over say, Comptech Header, High Flow Cat, whatever exhaust if you don't go K-Pro?
I'm never going to buy a Hytech, but just wondering.

^ if u just want a car that is not pathetically slow like an auto TSX, then comptech header, high flow cat and Hondata reflash will make it a day. I kept my stock cat-back for sound and torque's sake.

My plan was to get a high flow cat installed this month.
Grab the first local 06-08 exhaust that I see (small improvement over 04-05).
As well as pulleys, throttle body spacer, and Hondata. Then that's basically it without investing a whole lot more into a SC or something :P
(Already have the Comptech header, Injen CAI, and Ingalls ETD installed).

I see gains (3-5wtq gains) in torque from all sorts of after-market exhaust, incl. our last GTA TSX dyno meet. You will see gains @ high rpm range.

this is pretty much me, sans the reflash since it's unavailable for the 07/08's. i have to say, there is a difference even with jus tthe header/hi-flow cat.
i'm toying with the idea of getting a single outlet exhaust for the weight reduction and to maybe eke out a little more gain.
