You have to take the front bumper off, pull back the wheel well liner on the driver side and if you took everything from the stock intake out properly you should see a hole for the intake to fit through, just slide it through and attach the filter from the bottom/the wheel well.
if you look at my first pic on this page you'll see it goes down a whole into the wheel well to the right of the battery.

Yea I saw that whole, there is plastic tubbind down there. Do you take that out and then replace it with the filter? Or does the filter attach to that?
How hard is it to take the front bumper off and do all that? Because everything else I can do. Thanks a bunch man

the bumper is easy, its a couple bolts and a bunch of plastic rivets. just unscrew the bolts, pop out the rivets with a flat head screw driver and it should come off easily. the tubing has to be removed so that you can put the CAI in and have the filter sitting outside the engine bay, in the wheel well.

lol, buy me a plane ticket, I'd much rather be in FL anyway haha.
You're right its not challenging, it was the first mod I had ever done myself and it was very straight forward. I believe my Injen came with instructions that had pictures, if I can find it I'll scan it in and post it up, but it wont be until later today when I get off work.

It fine. I went to the injen website and found instructions on how to do it. But then i decided to just cut it and make it a custom short ram intake. That leads me to my another question; What is the difference between the short ram intake and the regular long way (going in back of the bumper)?
It is installed and working nice. Only thing is at around 7,000 rpm it gets a little rattly, on top of the already loud humming. any suggestions or is that just how it sounds?
Thanks a bunch guys! Def. a big help

i think he had a CAI from another company that was 1 piece, not 2 like our Injens. Any ways the reason for putting the filter in the wheel well is that it keeps it out of the engine bay where there is a lot of warm air... with the filter outside the engine bay it can suck in cold air, hence the name.
I believe short ram intakes help more on the bottom end while cold air intakes provide more power on the top end.
as for the rattling noise, I dunno... is everything connected properly?
