Question Anyone ever ran 1/4 mile w/ tsx

I know are cars arent exactly rocket ships from the factory as its been with all cars Ive had in the past you have to work on them add bolt ons to go fast (duh). I saw that in C&D they list the 09 tsx in the 7/08 issue at a 6.7 0-60 and a 15.3 in the 1/4 mile. But we all know how it goes ive seen as much as a .7 difference in cars tested with diffrent mags road & track isn't the same as motor trend or car & driver. Just was wondering if and what you have run in your tsx at the track and with what mods, did you use drag radials, etc.. I doubt id break a sub 14 sec in the 1/4 with just a cold air but want to know around what Id run with i/h/reflash, and to see what the rest of you run aswell imput is appreciated

thanks

6.7 0-60 for the tsx (2G or 1G) sounds too fast..especially for stock..I've heard that it's closer to the mid 7s..

yeah that's a given..going from a 2.4 to a 3.5 should make it much faster..probably a bit slower than an accord v6 since the tsx is heavier. I know the 1G tsx is heavier than the 7G accord v6 and the 2G tsx is even bigger in every way

-on 06+, My fastest time was 15.305 90MPH with just Injen Intake, and Stock TSX All seasons
I dynoed at 185 @ the wheels. So if you have more than that, you'll be quicker
-but with your 04, its a different ball game
also, its difficult to launch front wheel drive cars, unless you are actually a professional racer, its not the same as launching on the street. Racing slicks will definitely help you hook up at the track, but street tires are garbage even if they are summer performance tires

very true im no stranger to the track i had an srt 4 different car all together i know but still fwd and the best 60' i was able to get is a 2.1 (stock tires) but way more wheel hop due to alot more hp, its true fwd is a bitch to get off the line and takes hella skills and i think a nice set of dr's would help alot but were all so down on power even modded but being an AT helps off the line a bit when i go in my z28 maro i run drag radials and cut 1.7-1.8 60' times but i put down 334 whp and a totallyt diffrerent car aswell, also had a boosted T-67 ek hatch with a built gsr and that was a real bitch never got below a 2.0 60' all due to spinning and wheel hop, well good luck to us all who run at the strip looks like im gonna be running alot slower than i thought ill have reflash and race header by winter time hopefully ill catch a cold night and break into the 14's oh well i never thought i could make this car "fast" without being boosted just wanted it quicker than stock thank god it still has great styling thanks for the imput anyone else
