I live near Weapon R and I have a friend that works there. I wound never ever buy there parts again. The quality sucks, its all made in Taiwan. Save your money and buy something better.

I'm gonna give one a try. We'll see in a couple weeks how it does before Hondata and after.
Somebody's gotta try it, the only dyno I've seen is from the manufacturer, so we'll see some real numbers here shortly.

Since they changed ownership, supposedly the quality and R&D is actually on par with other well known manufacturers. However, it's hard to get that across to the consumer while keeping the brand name.

Sorry didn't want to hurt your feelings. But most good products don't come from Taiwan and usually the good stuff comes from the counrty of origin. Like Tein, the basics and SS are made in another country, but the the Flex, CSTs are all made in Japan. So I do blame the manufacturer, but they choose third world countrys for a reason.

Toda's nice but their gone, closed shop and moved back...too bad. I had their very first B-Series header in the US (before it was released to the public), it made awesome power for an off the shelf header, beautiful welds and perfect fit. They will be missed.

The new buddy club Suspensions are being built in China currently, does that mean that they are bad quality?

I believe you are incorrect. Assuming that the person who responded to my email from buddyclub.us is telling the truth, N+ coilovers are made in Japan, but I may be wrong. Everyone is outsourcing nowadays.
I think the real issue is R&D. A number of companies that are based in places like taiwan try and copy whats popular and sell it as their own with very little R&D. If a reputable company like Buddy Club outsources to taiwan, I'd imagine that they would still make good products if the only thing that is changing is the country in which they are manufacturing.

Too true, but we must not forget Quality Control, with all the R&D in the world, a product will still suck if the outsourced manufacturer doesn't adhere to strict quality control.
Any country in the world can make excellent quality parts given quality materials, quality tools, strict quality standards and quality workmanship.
Can you tell I used to work with TPS (Toyota Production System) in manufacturing? Hahaha
