TSX Turbo Kit Project Has Commenced 400HP Or Bust

I have just complete the manual 6 speed conversion on my TSX and have just begun building the turbo kit. This is going to be my personal daily driver. Ive spent quite a bit of hours over the last couple weeks getting this car ready including repainting the entire car over.

I was the original builder for the 1st production turbo kits for the newest Civic Si the FG.FA models for AJP. I left their services after deciding to go back on my own. The last couple years have blessed me with the ability for building kits for some of the industries fastest in both the Honda realm as well as others. I have been priveledged enough to work on the AWD Motorsports Record Holding fast street EVO and some of the fastest K Series Honda's in the region.

The kit im building will consist of the following:

Custom Turbo Manifold Sidewinder
3" Stainless Steel Downpipe
2.5" Aluminum Charge Pipes
Custom Verticval flow intercooler(already built)
Tial BOV
TiAL 44mm Gate
Precision Billet 6262SP turbocharger
FIC 900cc Bosch High Impedance Injector
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
Fuel Return Kit

I am attempting to pull this off without removing too many things in the engine bay. I have already verified fitment of the intercooler today with the charge pipes without the removal of the fog light on the driver side. I will most likely have all the intercooler piping welded together by Wednesday for updated pis. My ecu has already been received by Hondata for the K Pro upgrade.

TTercel is an unknown soldier, or on the road to either parallels.

Wouldn't an automatic be better for all that power? Much more controllable with zero loss of boost during shifts.

honestly automatics are great for higher horsepower levels not at the level that most of us would want. i persoanlly preffer manual in every vehicle i own on the street. i have much more control over how the car react. almost all my car have been either heavily modded or turbocharged. the manual allows me to engage me powerband however i like it for a specific moment and also disengage it without waiting for a computer to determine wether i want to upshift or downshift which. the AT in our cars is not that strong either wi dont know the breaking point but from honda's previous rep i dont think it will do for my needs. to to mention the extra 10% of power loss there will be from stick with the manual trabnsmission.

the weight loss was also a major factor in going manual. there is almost a 200lbs difference in the weight of the manual magnesium case versus the automatic transmission. my car is now significantly lighter thus making it also faster. now i have less weight to haul around and more torque to do it with.

i can put together a parts list for anyone interested but keep in mind the AT and MT TSX carry 2 different firewalls. so there is actaully no spot to mount the clutch laster cylinder. i had to use the original hole the front cabin harness went through and make a new hole for the harness right next to it. i also make a 1/2" reinforcement plate so the the firewall would not flex from me stepping on the pedal. I next make a new upper braket and welded it to the top of the firewall. real simple nothing complicated. the upper brakes eliminates anyflexing of the pedal just like the factory has it in the MT chassis.

other than that all you need is the following:
MT lower tranny mounts
MT clutch master & slave complete assembly
MT clutch pedal assembly
MT transmission 6 Speed or Accord 5 Speed

these are the main components youll need. as far as wiring goes its up to you. i already have Navi in my car and the donor car came with navi as well so i just swapped the dash harness to make the job quicker as far as the. you can continue to run the automatic cluster if you want to you might as well swap it for a manual eventually.
