I used a dremel tool to dremel out the slits in the fog light cover and put a screen to filter out debris.

I also used a dremel to cut out the slits in the little vent next to the foglight. I thought it would be a good idea. My question to everyone is if it makes much of a difference?

^ If there is, its very insignificant IMO. Now what if u lead a pipe from the air filer box down to the hole in the bumper plug and seal the hole around the hose. Then let the wind resistance create a little bit of boost?
I remember someone on Vibe forum actually did that. I dont remember if it had any effect tho, but somebody calculated that at, I think, 80 MPH, its possible to gain over 2 PSI of boost. It maybe BS.... and it most likely is.... but maybe I should try it someday.

To get that kind of boost, the ram air horn would have been sizeable, and the filter media would have to allow for very free flow.
Only one thing going for this, is the vibe has a smaller intake manifold, easier to fill the plenum with air volume... but 2 psi... A isn't anything worth writing home about, and B could be easily affected by where you are at in relation to sea level.

Man, I totally understand how unrealistic it sounds, but it still raises some suspicion. Still, the breathing part should be better.

Once you make the pipe and hole completely sealed, you're at a significantly higher risk of hydrolock.

My review on Icebox...
Just drove around with icebox installed for the first time...
For the first few km, I couldn't tell the difference because I was quite light to the gas petal, waiting for the engine / oil to heat up. Then when the rpm reaches 3k+, it surprised me. I felt like driving a TSX Si (sounds very like my friend's civic si).
I think it takes the luxury (quiet) out of the TSX and injects some sportiness (sound-wise, not performance). It takes some time to get use to, but so far... I don't think I like it very much unfortunately. Especially since it took me so much hassle to get it installed by myself...
The one thing I like is at rpm under 3k, with non-floored gas, it sounds as gentle as stock. However, when I step on the gas more, it reminded me how the G35 sounded when I test drove it some yrs ago, and it was not the sound I like....

True, but I might get a foglight spot cover from a wrecked TSX and test this thing "just because"....

if you dont like any sound at all then why bother with any intake? this one is by far the quietest intake available.. you should have just left the stock intake and dropped in a K&N filter or something.. but im sure u could sell it on here for a good price..
