Well 1000 is high...real high. I have done many K20 clutches from the RSX to the Civic Si To the TSX. It aint easy as the past hondas but sure aint worth 1000 dollers esp when you are replacing the flywheel with new and they dont even need to shave the old flywheel. The reason its more harder then the past is due to the Subframe coming down outta the car while you use a screwjack / Engine hoist or something along them lines to support the engine while you are dropping the trans. Reason being once you have the subframe down you lose to motor mounts and once you take out the tranny you lose the Drivers side mount and only left with one mount holding the engine in. Nothing of this prob dont make sense to anyone but to who have done this knows exactly what im talking about.
I dont know off the top of my head the Book time to do this install but i would say around 5 hours.... total guess but thinking of all the work to be done im saying around that time. I have done this in about 3 hours my self due to doing so many and know exactly what to do next. Good luck with it! Can always come to philly and ill do it for ya!

Ya, that's way high. Anywhere from $500-700 is fair. I paid around $500 to have mine done.

Why would you need a CM Stage 3? You're not boosted and it doesn't seem like you have much more then an intake.
It will be a bit more difficult to drive.
You won't get any additional life out of it.
You'd be much better off with an OEM clutch.

500-600 for the clutch replacement. I also wouldn't get that clutch if you don't have plans on going for big hp.

Don't do stage 3 on a daily driver. Your assuming you will have a supercharger but if you don't your gonna regret running a stage 3.

I agree. Go with OEM, it will hold with the supercharger for a little while then when it goes you can upgrade. This will save you the hassle of running a grabby clutch when you don't really need to.

stock clutch will go out pretty quick with 300. I'd go ahead and switch it out but with a stage 2. That is what i'm running and I'm putting down 300 with kpro.

Stage 2 would probably be a good choice.

then stage 2 it is thanks guys, yea maybe stage 3 is a little overkill, i just had a hard time guaging the stages but if you are running a stage 2 and puching 300 thats really about wat i want so thank you very much for all your opinions.
