There are ... Injen, Fujita, K&N, Comptech, Mugen, GruppeM, J's Racing and thousand of e-bay alternative.
Depends on how much you are willing to spend (list above is range from $150 - $1000+), what type of performance are you looking for, what type of hype you want to get from the looks etc.
You can go hit the search button, there's 1000+ input on different type of intake no jokes.
If I were you I wouldn't touch it, because 1) you said it's family car; 2) If you get the noise you want I'm sure you family member will hate it.

Just go K&N drop in. Subtle volume change but you will notice the extra pep.

no my family doesnt really care if i put on a intake and the noise but they just want the car to last the longest it can and dont want to lose the liability on the car so if its 100% safe and it wont affect anything then i'll get one and im only ranging to spend about 200 dollars just something decent not too cool and not too bad

If your budget is $200 you can opt for no-name CAI or go for a K&N filter and remove your stock resonator you can get a used CAI on the TSXClub black market but yah start using punctuation cause it's hard to read a long paragraph

I dono.... That was my 1st mod and I kinda felt better throttle response, but not the power. With the resonator still there, its pretty much useless.
If you want power but no noise, go for header or pulleys or hi-flow cat or Hondata reflash. Nice gain and no extra noise. Stick with stock filter.

Dude. Save your money and go to school. Can't read anything without punctuation. Even the title of the thread is mispelled.

+1 on punctuation! Makes life easier when reading posts!
I would consider the C-T Icebox. Its supposed to give better throttle response with a slight sound increase, for about $165.00.
Now I don't have one, but it seems like those who do have one give it great reviews.

My only reponse to this is maybe you shouldn't mod your car. Not because you can't, but you cannot go through life letting everyone tell you what to do. This is not a way to live. Be your own person, stand for something, or you will fall for anything. That is true in all things in life.
Do what you want. I've been doing this for almost 11 years, it will be 11 years in October. It is good to get advice, but if you are a young guy, you are going to begin to build your own knowledge making your own choices (read: mistakes).

The injen intake was my first mod to my car. I kinda wish i didnt get one. The sound was fun for a while but after having it for almost 2 years I kinda want a quieter cabin now. Also there was very little gains. I think I lost some mid range power and I dont really rev the car up to higher rpms often. But if sound is what your looking for I say get an injen for the sri/cai conversion.
