I'm with kuma and di2lude.
The clutch discs in a clutch-type LSD (Spoon/J's Racing/Kaaz) wear down over time and require service after a certain number of miles. That's fine for a racing team that has both the time and facilities to do so. However, for a DD, that can become annoying and costly. Conversely, helical LSDs (Quaife/Wavetrac/OEM) typically do not require service. Installation is all that is needed.
In addition, clutch-type LSDs tend to be noisier and not as smooth as helical LSDs due to the engagement point of the clutch discs.
My vote is for either the Quaife or Wavetrac LSD. The Wavetrac diff is based on the Quaife (created in-house by AutoTech, the former-US distributor of Quaife LSDs). However, they apparently improved upon the Quaife design by allowing the diff to apply torque even under no-load (i.e. both wheels spinning).
HERE's the post of my impressions when I had my Wavetrac LSD installed (along with my CM clutch/DC5-R flywheel).
