So, in other words, MT's suck because of your driving skill? If you did not "either shifted too early or late or even miss the gate to the next gear," would you have won?
Normally, on equally matched cars, a MT will beat an AT. The AT's computer isn't programmed for drag racing. Yes, AT's will shift perfectly...but that doesn't mean they shift at the most optimal time. In some cases, it may shift early (while a MT driver will keep it in the high rpm's).
Your statement would make more sense if you said that you lost to AT's despite shifting perfectly in the MT. You admit you messed up, so now you think AT is better? *shrug*
