Good job dude. Wow...that's pretty good number. How much did the tuning cost you? I can't find a reputable shop locally to tune it right..

That's very true. I can't wait to see your car done, you've got everything ready!! AT represent!

I used to laugh at people modding AT's until I went out to the drag strip and lost to a couple of AT's because I either shifted too early or late or even miss the gate to the next gear...
So, in other words, MT's suck because of your driving skill? If you did not "either shifted too early or late or even miss the gate to the next gear," would you have won?

Normally, on equally matched cars, a MT will beat an AT. The AT's computer isn't programmed for drag racing. Yes, AT's will shift perfectly...but that doesn't mean they shift at the most optimal time. In some cases, it may shift early (while a MT driver will keep it in the high rpm's).

Your statement would make more sense if you said that you lost to AT's despite shifting perfectly in the MT. You admit you messed up, so now you think AT is better? *shrug*

Calm down fido. I was just pointing out the advantage AT's have over the MT's... Did I ever say either or is better or say MT's suck? We are all human and even myself have missed the gate several times on the drag strip, a mistake is a mistake... I'm sorry Mr. race car driver and your flawless, everytime perfect, shifts.

My neighbor had his machined and tuned and it cost him about 200 for the machining of the VTC and about 300 for a tune... Also, he had to get the wide band O2 sensor which was another 300ish? I dont remember the exact prices but thats what I remember being around... I'll ask him later on today when he gets home...
