Does anyone know where i can find a good price for a comptech icebox intake? I've been looking around online and I've been having problems finding where i can buy it.

Thanks

Does the comptech icebox have a possibility of hydrolocking?
i didn't know it was a cai, i thought it was just like a stock intake.
My friend told me that it was better to stay away from CAI because of hydrolocking

The icebox is not a CAI. Also, CAI's can't hydrolock unless you suck in water through the filter, which usually means, water levels around 8inches or more.

If you don't imitate a submarine like that NSX driver you should be okay.

Untill you dont gonna sweem like a boat everything will be allright with CAI and icebox. CAI has more chances of hydrolocking while contacting water in a short period coz its a straight pipe, icebox is a kind of reservoire and it can help to avoid direct way for water to your engine.
