For those of you with Comptech Exhaust Systems: Help!

Alright, so i recently purchased a used Comptech exhaust on ebay for a super low price. The only problem with it is that it has a broken weld (seen in the pictures in the link). Can any of you Comptech owners add some insight as to what to do with this broken weld? Should I just have the pipe welded back together or should i have a flange added in between? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!

Pics Here!

If it was originally one piece, then I suggest you to just weld it back together.

Take it to an exhaust shop and ask them to install it and weld that place. Shouldnt cost much.

If you don't ever plan on taking the exhaust off and shipping it anywhere, just get it welded together.

weld it together, dont bother with a flange. It would be just one more potential spot for an exhaust leak to occur

there was a part in that pipe that had a lip where a clamp would go over it. it was designed to increase shipping efficiency. I think ill just get it welded together. does anyone know how much it would cost to TIG weld the two ends together?
