problems with NST pulleys

For those that have the NST pulleys, have you guys had any problems with it so far? I had it for a good, 6 months - a year. I forget. Anyways, i've been having problem with the I believe its called the drive belt tension? It's making a rattling noise whenever i turn the steering wheel, only on drive and only while idling (most of the time its while idling). I have the good year belt. Could the belt be causing these problems? Any input would be nice. Thanks!

literal rattling or is it a whine? whines have usually been due to low/old fluid in the power steering reservoirs

Look at your tension pulley markings make sure they are in the middle of the little boxes so that you have proper tension.

Your belt maybe too long. Get a tighter one for $20. Oh and this is what people get when they buy cheaper stuff. More problems down the road....

I'm going to assume he meant the good year belt. I had no success with their belts on the UR pulleys on my h22 build.

I have the rattle you're talking about I think...

actually, only on the initial gas'ing, it rattles in gear right when u gas it but once it goes it doesnt rattle.

had a acura tech friend of friend install it for me. he said its fine to drive on, its just an annoying sound to deal with. i get kind of a clicking sound too, but it might be from something else..

I meant these NST pulleys that so many people had issues with. Gates belt will work great. I had the same issue when got my UR pulleys installed because the belt was too long and kept slipping. 02-04 CR-V or 04-06 RSX-S belt will fix it. CR-V belt is slightly tighter though.

Look at the tension pulley, it has markings that look like a little box next to a big box kinda like steps, then it also has an arrow the arrow needs to be in the middle of the two boxes for proper tension. Let me see if I can find you a pic.

Here you go, the arrow needs to be in between the boxes.
