Kpro
I went to Louisiana's only known Hondata dealer today. They want to charge me $1200 for the kpro install and reflash. Is this a good deal? Or should I send it off the Hondata themselves?

K-Series Programmable ECU
For details on what the costs involved are. Also, Hondata does not sell directly to customers, only dealers sell to customers.

What does the $1200 exactly cover? Do you have to provide a donor ECU or an ECU that is already K-Proed?

$1200 includes i provide the stock ecu, they install the kpro and adapters. I failed at asking if they did the machine work needed.

thats almost $200 cheaper than what Hondata lists... I would be all over it if I lived near you. My local dealer is a jerk.... He charges me $125 on top of the cost of a reflash/k-pro listed by Hondata.

Its good price I think, go for it but I don't think that includes the machine work. I think I read some were thats like another $300. Pluse you have to tune it on the dyno, whatever thats gona cost you

Its not necessary. But you do need it to gain full advantage of Kpro.
