Bang for the Buck Exhaust
I'm looking to buy an exhaust for my 05 tsx auto and not spend too much money. What does everybody think I should get?
I love the sound of the comptech but thats way too expensive...
I want the performance but also not too much noise also... not trying to disturb the piece
thanks

I don't think you'll gain too much in performance from changing your exhaust alone. It's more for sound and looks. If you want a boost in performance on a 05, a high flow cat would be cheaper and more noticeable.

This one’s easy. I would say the best bang for your buck in term’s of being discrete and comfortable at highway speeds would be a Vibrant StreetPower Catback. I absolutely love everything about this exhaust I like how it doesn’t overpower my music, I can still have conversations with my friends at highway speeds without it budding in I also like how it begins to vocalize itself at VTEC.
Trust me, if you get one you wont be disappointed.
Look how nice and well it lines up, with the Mugen rear under-spoiler!!

if i was you id get the lip kit so that when u get the exhaust you can line it up so it can be flushed and not sticking out the rear bumper.....my .02 cents

I'd get the lip kit first, unless you're getting the J's racing exhaust, I would wait since there's minimal gain with any exhaust.

if you want quiet just stay with stock exhaust =) and save the money for something else ie. intake, pulleys, headers ^^ but if you want aftermarket then go with tanabe

depending on how low you are willing to drop it. the lower the more careful you should be. scraping the bottom bumper or lip kits are normal, some members here will tell you.

I had no problems driving in snow... I lowered mine 2" and a bit on Tein Basics.
