best header?
What's the best header for a 04 AT? Or best bang for buck? My car has about 110k miles on it.
would a reflash be better than a header?
thanks

both are a good start and around the same price so if you eventually plan on doing both just take your pick.

AT, don't use CT's header vibrate on AT without additional parts to mt to body. DC sucks, flexpipe often leaks.
weapon-R & Hytech (more expensive) give much nicer gain, but they run with testpipe, no cat, stinky and loud.
So, there's no 'best' header for tsx.
If you have not mod your car, get a set of UR pullies first, a must-have.

The CT header rattle is not as bad as people make it seem... it's very bearable, and often goes unnoticed.
OP - if I were to choose between the two, I'd go Hondata.
+1 on the pulleys.

i have the hytech header installed on my car right now. it does use a CAT so it isn't "stinky" nor is it too loud. Only problem is that the stock exhaust wont work without modification. Its best to just get the whole hytech exhaust system.
The weapon r looks to be a solid new choice. That one has no cat (comes with test pipe), but im sure somehow you can get one to bolt up. If youre interested ask marcus at heeltoe to see if he can make you a custom FLP cat for that header... might be worth a try.

header is a header, all the same just depends on their quality of finishes. I went the cheap way and got a DC header, sounds like crap but its fine. I plan to upgrade to a J's or Toda in the future...hopefully

uhm.. I wouldn't say a header is just a header. There are different designs and sizes. It's not all about flashy looks and sounds.

Well all the normal 4-2-1 is the same stuff, it increase flow and that's all. But yes, whether how smooth inside the header pipes plays a factor too. Only difference I see is JDM header where their designs are different and nicer welds. Well, and obviously Hytech since its race inspired

Am I missing something? Why are recommending custom headers for an auto? Does the reflash really tune the car well enough to use that?
And random tech and magnaflow have universal cats, I even have a 16" 2.5" i/o random tech cat sitting around from my last car never installed. Not really seeing it as able to use on this 2.25 exhaust without some serious welding work.
