i've been running the dc-sports headers w/ a test pipe for the past 5 yrs, and i finally decided to get a better set of headers
i was debating b/w hytech and weapon-r, but the wait/price of the hytech was a big deterrent
the only problems w/ the install was the O2 sensor port positioning and the piping of the exhaust sitting against the underside of the car
luckily, i had the headers installed @ marcus' and he was able to extend the wires on the O2 sensor
my exhaust is also pushing against the car, but this is b/c i have a custom exhaust that was mated up to my old dc header which had to have the flex-pipe replaced, so this shouldn't be an issue for others
i've ridden in a car w/ the hytech setup and the pick-up feel is very similar, however, the car i rode in was an auto, while mine is a manual
the sound @ idle is not that much louder than my last set up, but i'm used to a test pipe
@ full throttle, it sounds ridiculously mean
overall, i'm very happy w/ the product
regardless of the price, the performance is unbelievable and i'd highly recommend it for those looking for a header upgrade/replacement
old header
new header
i also picked up the new maven shift knob in black?
it sits a lot lower than all the previous shift knobs i've used, yet the contour of it keeps your hand from slipping off
also, since there's no engraved lettering, no areas for dust/crap to accumulate
new maven shift knob
for comparison
