reflash question
i know this has probably benn covered but is the reflash a plug and play unit or do you have to send out your ecu to hondata?

You have to send your ecu/immobolizer and a key.

what?? sorry im a total noob on this, but what exacily is an immobilizer and the key for? are you talking about car key or a certain key to work with the ecu errr, i know imma look back on this a year later and wonder how the heck was i so dumb lol.
oh... i keep hearing people talk about K-Pro, what the heck is that??

kpro is a complete engine management software, other than swapping to obdI it along with aem ems are the leading management systems to keep your card obdII thus allowing for tuning without worry about light inspections where they have to hook the car's onboard diagnostics up and check for any codes.
I dunno how greddy's emanage would work with our cars, but I used that for a year as a half ass tune as it is mostly made to work as a piggy back with limited capability. Of course the emanage also has a more austere version now, but I don't have any hands on experience with it.
the ignition immobilizer is exactly what it sounds like. If wrong key is inserted, it will not start. It's a love-hate feature, personally I think it sucks since for anything one has to get around the immobilizer or get a new t5 key crafted, even for a remote start system.
So, for your purposes, park your car for a week, get a t5 copy from the dealer or a good key smith, take out the ecu, send it all express mail, and voila. The 2-3 day turnaround is really incredible, I am impressed as is with that service

ok so being in the UK can i reflash my accord With a k24a3? what would be the point in a reflash does it really hold gains? im stock apart from a CAI

No, u cant. Reflash is only for TSX, u need to go dual kpro with TSX ecu instead of yours. Really not a cheap solution as is but if u also buy intake, header , cat and 06 tsx cams than u can feel real bang for a buck.
