I've done some research on the TSX ecu flashing since the stock TSX firmware is a serious compromise when it comes to the cam timing (Vtec) rpm point.
The peak gain is minimal but the reflash changes the VTec point which really flattens out the torque curve nicely with small gains everywhere.
Reflash - TSX
I have found that only Hondata has any kind of reflashing for the 04-06 cars & that requires sending your ECU, immobolizer & 1 ignition key to them in California. They have not been able to crack the firmware enough to even use an OBDII port type programmer.
If the Hondata reflash was available in an OBDII programmer, they would sell a ton more IMO & I would have bought it already.
Anyway...
If you go to the Hondata website, you will find many asking about the reflash for '07 & newer cars. They have nothing available yet.
They the inevitable question of swapping in an '06 ECU in an '07 or '08 car comes up. Hondata says the ECU's are not compatible at all & it will not work.
I haven't read anywhere where someone has actually tried it.

The King Motorsports website lists 2004-2008 and a specific year after that.
TSX (2004-2008) 2004 Manual
It looks like they meant to write (1st generation TSX) 2004 Manual

Now I don't even know what to mod anymore. I've been waiting for Hondata for so long.

reflash before i die plz
|
well, that stinks. i would've thought after releasing flashpro for the civic/s2k, that possibly the 07/08 might be on deck for something in the near-term future. guess not. they could very well be working on the 09+ tsx. over at a-zine, someone has their 09 getting fitted with a supercharger from CT-E. and if they're supercharging it, that means there has to be some sort of engine management or at least a reflash probably in the works.

Thats their typical reply. Hondata always keeps a tight lid on things.
