Will my reflash work with comptech sc ?
I searched but did not get an exact answer. I have a 06 and recently got the the hondata reflash and was thinking of maybe getting the comptech supercharger. will my reflash work with the SC or will I have to use the reflash that comptech offers?

it will not, it will get re flashed specifically for the supercharger, i think they give a discount if it was re flashed prior.

It will not . U need to get a new reflash for use with SC. Every program in ecu is confugured to a special set of equipment, your program isnt compatible with SC. For best results u need SC , icebox, header, and while sending ecu for new reflash u need to mention all this changes to reflasher.

Someone here (MMsTSX ?) bought an SC but got a wrong reflash by mistake. They gave him the reflash for bolt-ons instead of SC. The car gained power and didn't break in like a year of driving. It did not blow up or anything but only when it was dyno's and VTEC engagement point at 5000 rpms was revealed was it clear that there was wrong programming of the ECU. I think it gained like 10 HP after correct reflash was done.
So in conclusion, your reflash CAN work with SC, its just that u do not want it to.... Oh and if u are reflashed, there is a $100 discount for SC. I would rather exchange your ECU for a non--reflashed ECU + $300? $500? Then I would program that "new" ECU to work with SC

Good job spelling those words.
For best result u need a CAI or velocity stack + race header/good full exhaust system.

^^ If you buy the kit new, the SC comes with the reflash. I wouldn't run the NA reflash with the SC setup. If you're buying the kit used, your options are K-Pro or contacting Hondata to see if they will do the SC reflash for you. I would lean towards K-Pro if you can afford it, you'll be able to expand on the system later if you want then.

TSX WS i think the person who got the wrong reflash was CCColtsicehockey.
he ran the normal reflash for a while due to a hondata mistake. Like everyone said, just run the SC reflash. its included in the price of the SC.

Right, thanks for reminding me that it was Colt. As I said, stick with SC reflash or K-pro.
