stock -> Fastline HFC, how much noise gain are we looking at? and.. at what rpm does the noise get noticeably louder?
I can't feel VTEC kicking in at all on my 05. Should I blame the Cat more or the Header more?

Btw.. the heatshield compatability is why I dig the FLP. FLP it is for me then...
With that said, I drove over something the other day, and now my heatshield has a gaping hole in it. Anyone know where I can get another one (for a reasonable price)?

edit: also why are you talking about Marcus? I posted a link to excelerate, who would have no reason to say the RT cat is 300 instead of 200. excelerate only sells RT, he doesn't sell FLP.

^Posts 9 and 13. When he talks about going from 300 to 200, he talkas about switching from Magnaflow cat to RT cat. FLP uses Magnaflow cats if u didn't know.

I did know, I have been in the loop for FLP cats longer than you have.
Fastline Performance Metal Cat Preview, and some "random" news?!?!?!
more importantly:

I have seen them both in person. Have you?
And I know what an RT cat looks like, so I wasn't mistaking it for some other brand.
You are just a little fan boy that didn't do his research. You got a cat that doesn't flow any better and doesn't have brackets for the heatshield, and now you are just trying to defend your poor choice.

Buy the aftermarket HFC if you have the money, or just build your own by buying a magnaflow CAT .

I have seen it all and compared. FLP cats come with magnaflow cats which are classified as 300 cells/inch sq. but some are 200 cells. Oh and there really is no need to call me a fanboy. I am just g lad I got rid of that 05 cat and got something way better. I did my research and brought my proof, but you just sit there and act like u are right and try to confront me and defend your choice.
You can stick to your opinion or whatever someone else tells u, I don't care. I have seen the comparison done myself and there is no gain for me in wasting my time with u.

You really can't go wrong with either one. Both are nice, but IMO I do think the FLP is made a tad better. A bunch of us purchased the RT cat back when it was the only available option as a direct bolt-on.

I brought proof first. I brought proof twice. You have seen the comparison done yourself? I have DONE the comparison myself in person with both hf cats. I don't have to act like I am right; I am right. I started this because you were spreading false info on the RT cat and I called you out on it.

haha first time u referred me to someone who was told that RT cat has 300 cells. Second time u showed me the pic of 2 different cats being compared. Oh and where is that comparison of yours?

That someone is a forum vendor, so show some respect. He probably knows more about the product he is selling than you do.
2 different cats, an FLP and an RT being COMPARED. Are you blind or just plain stupid?
The comparison? It's in my head. I was the one who did the initial testing for the FLP cat so I saw mine and an RT cat that Marcus had sitting in his garage. It was pretty easy to compare them in person. The difference in quality is also no comparison. The RT cat is cheaply made and looks like garbage.

Thank you. that's all I needed to hear to conclude that u are an idiot who has no solid proof but can only copy others who are interested in misinforming. So before u call me out, bring a valid comparison instead of advertised one which is aimed at convincing u that the product u already have is trash and u HAVE TO buy a new one from them to be the best or a comparison in your empty head. Have a good day.
