VTEC Controller - Allows the VTEC engagement point to be changed either lowered or raised, a piggyback device that is tapped into the OEM ECU lines. No power gains from a simple VTEC engagement point change however.
Auto Timer / Turbo Timer - Allows the engine to continue running for either a prefixed or auto-calibrated time. Used generally in high performance or turbocharged cars to allow the oil to flow/cool and the turbine to stop spinning before total power disengagement.

Hondata Reflash-- 600$... Resets the factory ECU, to get some more power out of it, also lowers Vtec down to 5000 RPM's and raises your redline to 7400, some Very nice power gains

I think memphis might have met to put that it raises the redline to 7600 rpm

Why wouldn't there be any power gains in lowing the VTEC point? Looking at dynos, there is a bit of a dip in there. Of course, the Hondata makes a lot more sense, well, assuming there's an '05 version one day.
Seriously, the VTEC controller is such a hack, but it does (somewhat) work in general (at least it did on my previous car, which isn't a TSX). Is there something TSX-specific that prevents it from working?

If you only alter/modify the VTEC engagement point, there is absolutely no gains whatsoever. The VTEC engagement is triggered by the VTEC solenoid. What the controlling device does is tell it when to open.
Apart from a single on/off function, oil pressure, ignition firing settings and fuel map to match the changeover point are some of the functions triggering the power change/surge. So the gains you saw from the VTEC engagement point change will need to include the following factors to be adjusted/modified for power gains.
The Hondata reflash is an entire ECU mapping redone to suit it's new parameters of lowered VTEC engagement and higher redline. As you can see, there are more than 1 parameter to see a worthy change.
