Need more Power
Hey everyone. I've done several modications to the TSX.
1. Hondata Reflash
2. Comptech ICE Box
3. Comptech Header
4. Comptech Catback Exhaust
5. Tein Basic Suspension
6. Power Slot Rotors with Hawk Pads
Waiting for the Comptech Supercharger. Can anyone tell me what other mods I can do in the meantime for more power.

try throttle body should give you more power well since you already change the header and airfilter or maybe ignition system upgrade

I like the throttle body mod. I'll try that one. As far as the test pipe. What is it? Still new at this. Thanx

You could try...
1. Weight modifications...carbon fiber hood and trunk. Although, I don't highly recommend carbon fiber unless you paint it. It will fade, crack, and like most aftermarket body parts (including carbon fiber), will never fit like stock. You could remove the interior...ha ha, yeah right. The TSX is too nice of car to go to that extreme. Remove spare tire, jack.
2. Lighter wheels
3. Throttle Body Bore
4. Nitrous
5. Turbo
6. RSX head/cam swap
7. Hondata intake gasket (if you haven't already done so)
8. Lighter flywheel
Remember though, some of these modifications will not work with the Hondata reflash, like the Turbo or Nitrous suggestion. Which makes me curious...how will you be able to run the Comptech Supercharger (when it comes out) and the Hondata Reflash together? Won't it be a problem? Or will Comptech come out with a ECU upgrade with the supercharger? I am still a newbie when it comes to forced induction setups.

I'll also try some of your suggestions, 2005 TSX, Thanx. As far as the Comptech Supercharger and the Hondata Reflash. I didn't know there would be a problem. I'll contact a Comptech Technician and see if the reflash is going to be a problem. I sure hope not. Very happy with the reflash alone.

test pipe is a high flow cat~ but i think it's for "track-use only" cause of emissions or something...not sure haha~if u're interested, go search it up~ i think the gain is 6-10hp?

Theres a Thread by Dzuy... on a Highflow Cat he had made for the TSX... this one would still pass emissions so its all good... out to make a nice difference, especially with the mods u allready have

k20a pistons will fit, add some f20c (00-02) springs and retainers, they will handle much better at higher RPMs.
