btw the EuroR is at least 200kg lighter than the TSX too if im not mistaken
i remeber a thread ages ago ~ they took out every "unnecessary parts"(panels, seats except driver's, and interiors) and cut out part of the "none-important body part" wiht a chainsaw(ex. trunk, hood, doors, even the roof and fenders) from a stock Sentra SE-R and it runs sthing like 14or 13sec in 1/4 miles~ that's abt the speed of a M3 but the car looks harilous afterall but everything on the car is stock

Can we put our k24's into a RSX type S?? I am just wondering, Scenario: K24A2 from 2007 TSX going into a 2005 RSX Type S...will this fit? Don't you think that would be a sweet setup or are there other cheaper options?

Yes, and it's been done before. Check Clubrsx.com.

why though? the k20 can be turbocharged and accepts standalone fuel managemnt setups as well as saving weight. the k24....not so much....besides superchargers like the one offered for the tsx put more strain on an engine than a turbo would.

Ehh, but then think of the K20/24 swaps that people use. So you can use K-Pro for the RSX and it would work with the engines. Don't forget, there's no replacement for displacement.

Yeah thats true...I am looking at a 05 RSX-S today, I am really considering about buying it. I'm about to have a kid in September and I could use the cheaper car payment but I wouldn't be sacrificing fun and power. My wife is getting a Honda Fit so that is going to be our family car.
What do you think, should I get the RSX-S. Its the Metallic beige or tan color. It looks really clean from what I can see on the pics. Also, the original owner changed the tires, but he only changed the front two. He did it fine, but usually aren't you strongly recommended to change all four at the same time??
I already have some mods lined up for the RSX-S if i decide to get it.

The swap is possible. But you still will have to run the tsx ecu. And as we all already know. No engine management. Which includes all dbw variants of the k series motor. You can always try a double ecu setup. Its been done on gen7accord. And as for the k20a in a tsx. I too would like that for many reasons.
-The 2 liter variant is more potent than the 2.4 in my eyes.
-The 2.4 can't be revved as high as the 2.0 due to longer throw.
-The lowest 2 liter variant is cheaper than the lowest 2.4
-Everyone and there momma are using the 2.4

RSX-S = less room and higher insurance payment. But you can go JDM crazy with it.

All the k series can have kpro. The problem is making it work on our car.

thanks guys, i don't want to give up my TSX but for sake of a cheaper car payment, i think i have too. As far as insurance, i don't think it will be terribly much more. I have no tickets and my wife will most likely be put on there as the primary driver to make it less, you know how that works with females and all.
I am seriously going to miss my TSX though. When I get a better job, my next car is going to be the new TL-S if its not too ugly by the time i get it.
