Good questions, but I don't think it is any reason to get paranoid if you are running a CAI.

I've gone through a shyt load of deep puddles and nothing. Realize that water would be up to the top of the bumper to even get close to the CAI intake. I've been running without the resonantor box since Aug. 2003 and seriously, not even a drop of water. I'd be VERY interested to see some actual pics.

That is the biggest risk factor when running aftermarket intakes. Even if it's made by Mugen for Honda, should your engine fail due to it being a contributing factor. There isn't much argument over who is at fault but the owner.

Well, I certainly wouldn't go charging into a large body of water; could do body damage if you are going fast enough. Best bet is to just slowly roll through it keeping a constant motion forward OR better yet, find an alternative route.
