How similar are Euro/Japan/Acura intakes? ITG Air Filter proposition...

I was wondering if all the variations of Honda Accord/TSX use the same airbox design. I was thinking that someone should hook up with ITG filters (http://www.itgairfilters.com) to develop a bespoke application of thier "maxogen" air filters for these cars.

A couple of years ago I asked about them developing a system for my s2000 and they said the up front costs would be 2000GBP for thier design. Since I'm not in the parts sales business I really can't justify spending that kind of money, but someone like TSXparts can probably do it, and also be the Honda applications distributor in the US at the same time.

These guys really started road products with designing intakes for small 4-cylinder engines like the Elise's and Civics, so I think they can also benefit our bigger 4 cylinders as well.

Check out the website, and if you like what you see, and think that a $600 to $800 intake in carbon is a good idea, post it here. Also, if you don't post it here as well .

Unfortunately when it comes to Honda/Acura applications in the aftermarket world. Other aftermarket manufacturers have gone further and definitely done their R&D and produced some very excellent products for the CL7/9.

Mugen, GruppeM, Injen are the 3 big choices when it comes down to us. You could however match a universal filter with either one of these 3 designs and perhaps net better results like what I've done with the Injen/BMC combination.
