Info Understanding What "CL7", "CL8" & "CL9" Means
This is perhaps the most frequent question asked. Each abbreviation is used by Honda/Acura and aftermarket manufacturers to determine which model in compatibility of parts or components in general.

Chassis Code - ABA-CL7 | JDM Accord Euro R
Transmission - 6 Speed Manual Only | FF
Factory Length, Width & Height - 4.665M, 1.760M & 1.450M

JHM means Japan Honda Manufactured which is stamped on all export Honda cars manufactured in Japan and exported overseas, while your grade will be DBA-CL7 | JDM Grade 20EL/20A if you don't own an Euro R.

Where can you see the DBA string? I understood from your post that it should be in the chassis code, however I do not find it there.

Does this mean that, for example, an Euro Accord owner can claim that it's a JDM Accord, or are there any differences between the 2?

DBA & ABA classification is not stamped on your chassis plate, it's a Honda category code only.

JDM or export grade, the only difference is what type of hardware and power output it's running.
