Onstar? What's this?
Sometimes I get little glitches like when my iPhone bluetooth doesn't sync with the car, but this happened this evening. Everytime I clicked on the phone button, this showed up.

"Unit cannot be operated when OnStar is active."

Any ideas? We don't have OnStar....do we?

Its probably something with your iPhone. Like you said, I don't think Acura offers OnStar.

On-Star is pretty much exclusive to GM vehicles. That is very strange though, never heard of this problem before. Didn't know On-Star was available on the MDX or RL though, learn something new everyday lol.

OnStar did come on some acura models but it was short lived... i would talk to your dealer about it. Thats very strange.

Did you buy your car new or CPO? If not new it may be possible the navi unit was replaced with the MDX unit. If new, I have no clue. Never heard of a TSX having this error.

Any updates? Still getting the error?

I think it was a computer glitch some how. I bought my car new; it only happened once...maybe because of the hot Florida sun. LOL
