Geek Stock amplifier question from a noob

Hi everyone,

I have tried to search this forum for my answer, but did not succeed. So I have a monochannel alpine amp and I want to power a single 10 or 12 inch sub. However, the alpine deck I have (I believe it is with all alpine decks) only have 4 channel output to speakers. Our TSX has 8 channels, and I don't want to lose any sound from the 4 of 8 channels. So my question is, Can I just remove the stock amp from our stock stereo and connect it to my alpine deck in addition to my monochannel amp? So to rephrase, can I connect our stock amp (to power speakers) in conjunction with an aftermarket amp (to power sub) to an aftermarket deck? Does anyone have this setup or a similar setup? If anyone has any other suggestion, I am all ears. Thanks in advance!

go buy a 70-1721 and a 71-1721, make a t harness and run the 71 back up to the factory harness, but on the t harness do not connect the speaker wires to the factory harness. plug into the connector, there u go the harness that powers and alows you to use the factory amp still is just a 1721 a normal honda harness, and please search there are many man many posts on this. goodluck any questions just pm me
