Dealer service options

The economy has been bad...the dealers are barely scratching by and the service people are desperate. I've been getting e-mails on discounts to get me to come in (i.e. $10 oil changes and $10 tire rotations). I know the plan, they do the cheap service and try to get you to do another service. So today I brought mine in for the oil change and tire rotation, and three hours later $150: tire rotation, oil change, and some sortta fuel induction injector service. The service technician presented two others (like power steering flush and something else, but I declined those). I kinda felt sorry for them, so I let them do that fuel flush. So my question is: are these services really necessary? Are they helpful or just a complete waste of money? What are some other ones I should probably avoid when I'm at the dealership getting my oil change?

If your car is running well and you don't drive super aggressively, then do what your owner's manual service schedule tells you

Oil Changes are the only thing you need everything else is just a ploy. Fallow your owners manual, don't listen to the dealers.

Yeah they kinda got you there. Anything that's not in the maintenance schedule is just not needed.

Kinda shady of the dealer IMHO, even in a bad economy.
