Which Floor Mats?

OK so I would like to know which floor mats do people usually put? Do you guys usually put the JDM euro r ones even thought they are for RHD? Or are the some from the European market that we can use? Or do the USDM ones from the accord fit? I need some guidance in this, Thanks.

if you got a us-spec tsx, usdm tsx all-weather mats.

the other day, my idiot friend spilled soda on my mats; if i had carpet mats, i would've been pretty sick. i just wiped up the soda and all is well. same could be said for sand, dirt, and whatever else would otherwise stain carpet mats or make it hard to clean.

one of the best purchases you'll ever make for the interior IMO.

I have the USDM all weather mats over the USDM carpet mats.

Another vote for the all-season mats. Works great for me in summer and winter Since you're in FL you only need to worry about summer. It traps sand and dirt fine in my experience. Well worth the price I paid.

For those wondering about winter:

I've had no issues with the way it holds debris when it comes to ice and snow and salt etc. I have heard ppl from up north who gets massive amounts of snow say it wasn't enough to trap it all but for the usual stuff here in VA it works great imo. Might just depend on your area and the conditions that they're put through but for the usual they are more than adequate imho.

It sounds like the OP is looking for "Honda" or "Accord" mats to go with his conversion. I believe the USDM 7th gen Accord mats do fit and I've seen them in person. I just don't remember if they fit exactly, from edge to edge. They were definitely very close though. You can also get the mats for the EDM Accord from countries that are left hand drive like Switzerland.

I'm pretty sure the mat design is different for rhd and lhd..I've got the tsx all weather mats and I'm very happy with them..the 'accord' mats sound nice..but getting them imported is not gonna be cheap

Agreed. I live in S. Florida and I have all-season mats. As you know, it rains here a lot and the humidity is high (so carpets take awhile to dry). I got weathertech - which don't look luxurious, but very practical and I don't have to worry about soggy carpets.

Since I don't drive my TSX in the snow, I run carpet mats year round. I personally don't like rubber floor mats, I feel it cheapens the interior. I've kept my OEM carpet mats looking nearly new for years, it just takes intelligent use (not tracking mud into the vehicle) and regular cleaning.

For winter use though I would absolutely have a set of rubber mats!
