my car +car wash from the dealership
So i took in my car for some warranty repairs and they said if i wanted a car wash, im like ok..........so they took my car in washed it and then parked outside, and i saw with my own eyes that the car wash girl nudged the fence with my bumper, i went out and saw this..........

i want to, but the service guys were really nice about it, said they'll call me tom.........as long as they take responsibility, im ok but no more car washing.........dont want them to drive my car

Don't worry, it doesn't look too bad. It doesn't even look like the paint is scratched. It just needs to be popped back in. I believe there are clips around there and one probably just popped out.

ya its no biggy and the paint is not scratched, but still so much of a hassle.........as long as they dont try to deny what they did....

well it was in for some warranty repairs, i told the service guy right then and there, i asked if you can just pop it back in, and he was like his technicians werent trained for it, so they told me to go home and call me tomorrow and set up something...

That sucks. No other visible damage? On the few occasions I've taken mine to the dealer I've always told them "NO WASH" and they mark it on the paperwork.

i *never* have the dealership wash my car. its always marked on the work order as "no car wash", and i have a big sign in red letters in the car that says "do not wash car!!!"

once they washed it by accident and they swirled up my car. and by swirls, i mean i could trace exactly how the car was washed cuz you could see the chamois/sponge/whatever marks dragged every which way... dealership's head detailer tried to convince me and the shop foreman that i'm the one that caused the scratches. i told them its not possible because i use 2-bucket method of washing and i wash my mitt after every panel. dealership ended up paying for a full detail at detailer of my choice.

if you love your car, NEVER have the dealership wash your car.
