I think the 2006 is the better deal if you like the nose. I don't like the new front myself, it looks bastardized. I do like the extra power and memory seats in the 06. The price is a bit higher but probably worth it. So get the 2006 IMO if you don't mind the ugly front.

pros - style, power, more features

cons - price

The redesigned exterior is a personnal opinion so it all depends on you. I actually like the new front without the nasty chrome above the grill. Also, the new front bumper makes it look alot more aggressive, to match the new bump in power.

I agree. And having owned an 05 and seen an 06 first-hand, I prefer the look of the 06. Looks more complete to me.

Pros: Different Styling, "More" power, Bluetooth, Memory Seats, Newer Car with hopefully less rattles/bullsh*t, "Free" Foglights

Cons: Different Styling, Power gains are not significant or realistic, Price

Having never owned a tsx the front seems fine for me. The only beef I've got is with those wheels. Gimme the 5spoke instead. Some ppl have said it looks fine in person than in the pictures tho. Definitely '06 for me - hopefully should have it tomorrow if the dealer's new car loads come in!

The wheels aren't the greatest, but they definately look much better in person

Im about to buy a TSX (love the car) but am having trouble with which to buy ..05 or 06. Im leaning towards the 06 because of the upgrades (memory seats and bluetooth, etc) the only thing that is keeping me from buying an 06 is will the body kits from the 05 fit on it? Im in love with the Kenstyle kit and have to have it on my TSX. Does anyone know if this kit will fit? If it does, then there is no question which im buying!

I'm not a big fan of the redesigned front....but man...memory seats! (I'm short and my roommates are all tall...they can't even get into the driver's seat with my seat settings hehe)

I don't own a TSX yet either, but am thinking I'm about to pick up an '06. I am really diggin' the new subtle-yet-enhanced styling. The bump in power I am hoping will be enough to satisfy me... IMO the '05 left me wanting a tad bit more punch. I don't know why you guys aren't diggin' the wheels, they seem pretty agressive to me! and the fog lights, i don't think they look all that bad.

I'm sure that if it doesn't fit they will make one that will. I wouldn't think that this should affect your decision.

The website for the kit says it fits CL7/8/9. I dont really understand these numbers..could someone clarify? Will this kit fit on my 2006 TSX?

ummm... it's really only 5 more ponies more than the '05, so I would call that "bump in power" negligible. Plus that bump in power can really only be felt when you are in the high rev range. So unless you are driving like your seat is on fire, I don't think you will really feel that "bump in power". It would be good if Acura can make a significant increase in torque at the low rev end.
Plus, with a proper high performance intake, plus an enhanced exhaust, you can harness up to 10 extra ponies!
