So How Bout Acura Wont Warrantee My Lights B/c They Said It Seems It Has Been Tampered With, I Explained To Them It Is Oem Headlights Although They Are The Jdm Lights And Came Straight From Germany From Honda, The Service Advisor Assumed That I Opened Up The Lights Myself And Removed The Amber Reflector. Now He's Telling Me I Have To Contact Honda An Discuss It With Them Because He Cannot Warrantee It. What Should I Do At This Point?

condensation problems with headlights were a issue on earlier production models ...............2004 ,2005 and may extend to 2006 TSX'S..............
ACURA HAS FINALLY ADMITTED THE PROBLEM ( only tool 18 billion complaints)............
owner's of " affected " vehicles should have already rec'd a memo ( letter) in the mail advising owners of the issue.............
-ACURA will replace headlights as required .......................this is a extended " campaign bulletin".........................
- if you didn't get a letter........probably does not affect your vehicle , and the headlights have been re-designed.....................

** MENTAL NOTE ***
IF you did get a letter about the headlights on your car , AND there is no current problem with them....(condensation)............DO NOT have the dealer replace them !!!
-if you zip down to the dealer and have the headlights replaced , like the letter tells you to do, then the warranty on the " new" and " modified" replacement lights is only as good as whatever the factory warranty was ! ( usually crap)
-i.e. the remainder balance of your current warranty ...........................

keep the letter in a safe place , only get the headlights replaced WHEN there actually is a condensation problem................
that way , in 2 years when your headlights fog up , you got ACURA by the balls legally...............
hope this helps.........................

I drove through some major rain on the way to the mountains the other day, then noticed moisture condensation in the passenger headlight. I remember seeing this thread around so I searched and found. I'll print out the TSB and take it in for service here within the next couple of weeks. Thanks!

condensation in passenger side housing
I guess i'm not the only one experiencing any kind of condensation within the headlights. So I bought my '04 tsx used at a non-acura dealership about a month ago...i'm covered for 36k miles and the dealership agreed to look over the problem and fix it. I've got about another week before my appointment and it may take a couple days after that to get my headlight problem fixed if they have to order a new housing. Is there any way to fix the condensation problem temporarily until then? The sight of heavy condensation build up on one side and the effect it has on my horizon line with the lights on really bugs the crap outta me. Sorry, but when you upgrade from a civic si hatchback to an acura tsx you're definitely expecting nothing but the best. PLEASE HELP GUYS!
