I called my dealer and they said they wouldn't do it for me. I'm only 1200 miles over warranty.

My headlights had the clips installed a month ago. I didn't have condensation before then. But now I am getting it. And Acura's saying it's not their problem anymore.

My car is 08 tsx and after seeing it up on a hoist I only really noticed the condensation building up in my passenger side headlight. I called the acura dealer right away and they are going to be swapping them out for me this monday.

I had this problem with my '04 from the start. It was only on the driver's side headlight though. I took it to my acura dealer and they told me it was part of a recall they had on the tsx. The problem was there are these "clips" that seal off the headlight housing that were bad on about 90% of the tsx's so it allowed different air temps to flow in causing condensation.

Not trying to ramble on too much but the bottom line was they just replaced both housings and the "clips" since then haven't had any issues with it. If you're planning on visiting the dealer about this, have them check on the trunk wiring too, some bad wiring causes your tail lights to burn out early. If you have navi in your tsx as well they will need to reset the default codes on it which causes the touch screen to become non responsive and the color on it will fade with time so they tell me. Pretty much the only problem that still persists till this day as with alot of other tsx owners experience is the center stack lights being out...

actually, there were no clips in the original design. The clips were added as the resolution measure.

Did anyone ever find a way to order the clips online?

I have condensation and would like to try clips before I get crazy and re-seal them, but I hate going to the dealership, and I have JDM lights, so they'd probably blow me off anyway.

I've got condensation in the driver's side headlight of my '07. Took it into the dealer, and they told me that since the condensation issue was addressed in my car from factory (i.e. never took it to the dealer to have the clips installed) that Honda/Acura considers this to be normal wear and they won't replace the headlight under warranty.

I'm on the phone with Honda/Acura Canada right now...this is completely ridiculous.

since my last post, i've had 4 new sets of headlights due to condensation...so finally this set is good now!
for those who power wash your vehicle try not to spray too long directly at your headlights.
