Need help

hi there i just bought my 05 tsx used but the maintenance light is on, i dont think its the oil cus i just changed it so iono what it could b. Any help would b nice = )

When the oil was changed was the ML reset ? If not it needs to be. I have an 06 so it's
different. But the procedure is in the manual. It would be something like turn IGN to on.
Then hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
BUT check your manual for the correct procedure.

If you live near advance auto parts. You can bring your car there, give them your license and they give you an OBD2 scanner no charge. You could run the codes and see whats wrong. That's what I did for my brothers BMW

Its just because the maintenance reminder was not reset after your oil change. Just follow the reset procedure in the owner's manual or here: (see post #8)

"Maintenance Required" Indicator Reset

That will take care of the light. If you had an engine problem or fault, the engine symbol would be on, and not the maintenance required light.
