Ingalls camber kit question

Hi all,

I installed my Ingalls rear camber kit recently myself. Install was dead easy, I just matched the lengths of the new links to the stock AND made sure the cam bolts were in neutral position.

But after I got the car aligned the driver side cam bolt is still in neutral position but the passenger side cam bolt is not. The alignment printout says everthing is aligned properly, toe is pretty close to 0 all around with -1 camber on the rear. Does this seem odd to you? Does this mean the tech adjusted the rear driver side link by adjusting the tube and adjusted the rear passenger side link by rotating the cam bolt? Am I making any sense?

That's certainly sounds like what happened. I can't think of any reason why it would be a bad thing, though. Obviously, when adjusting toe on the lower rear link, you through off the camber a little and need to go back and tweak the center link, but actually making the adjustment with the cam bolt shouldn't hurt.

Maybe he forgot (or didn't know) that the silver nuts are LH and was unable to turn one? Did he have the Ingalls instructions?

Thanks for the response Lanny. Yes he had the Ingalls instructions. Maybe the tech just got lazy.
