Sway Bar Problem?
Since it's getting really cold in Seattle here, I've been hearing a extremely loud squeak sound from my rear whenever I go up even a small bump at so low speeds. I was told I need to grease between the bar and the bushings?
How should I go upon this? I was wondering if I should buy new greaseable bushings to save me time in the long run.

Had the same problem and I used brake lube ( same stuff you lube up the slide pins on calipers). Actually took the bushings off and smeared it on the bushing where the bar sits, haven't had the problem in over a year.

yeah its the sway bar. I had that problem too. You can add more grease to the bushings, or get these polyeurathane bushings from heeltoe that supposedly eliminate the sqeaking noise. I bought them and the noise went away.

Yeah, I was recommended those poly bushings as well, how much did they cost from Heeltoe? Man I wonder how the hell I'm doing this without a lift. I know I'll have to take off the rubber crap thats on there now, and regrease between the bar and the bushing correct?
Hope WD-40 works.

IMO better to use lithium grease than WD-40.

I'll look into Lithium grease, but do you guys think polyurethane bushings are a good investment? I'm guessing they would cost me around $23 Dollars shipped.

Another option is to clean the bar and bushings well than wrap bar in the area the bushings are with Teflon tape. I haven't had any squeaking for over a year already. Any kind of grease or lube may attract dirt and other contaminates to the bushing and may cause them to wear out quicker.
