FAQ Thread Help On Brake Issues - Technical Articles By StopTech

Hi Everyone,

Each day on the automotive message forums such as this one, StopTech sees the same brake-related questions asked over and over again. We wanted to let you know that we’ve been busy addressing these issues via technical articles on our newly redesigned website…’warped rotors,’ noisy brakes, how to bed-in pads and rotors, how to bleed brakes, what type of brake fluid to use, prepping your car for the track, etc. Please find the answers that you’re looking for in our most recent ‘Whitepapers’:

http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/te...e_papers.shtml

We think that these articles will save many of the forum veterans a lot of time and frustration in dealing with repetitive questions…enjoy!

Brake issues

Thanks for this link. It answers a lot of questions. I just returned from two days at Mont Tremblant in Canada where I tracked my TSX for the first time. The car is completely stock and I didn't expect it to perform all that well. I was pleasantly surprised. The only problem was I developed a pretty severe shaking during heavy braking at the end of each session. I thought the rotors had warped, but the explanation by StopTech seems to clear that up. Has anyone found a good high performance pad that could be used on the street and occasionally the track that would minimize the deposit problem?

Also, has anyone else tracked their TSX?
