Ingalls Camber Kit Locking Nut Loosening Issue
For those of you with the Ingalls rear camber kit, how do you loosen the locking nut that is closer to the middle of the car? I went in for an alignment and the tech said they had to unbolt the inner side of the camber bar in order to loosen the locking nut on that side. They loosened the locking nut on the outer end using a wrench, but a wrench can't get into the inner locking nut.
Worst comes to worst, i'm going to unbolt the inner side of the camber kit arm from the car and loosen the locking nut before i take it in for an alignment.
Is there an easier way?

thats what i had to do with mine. i couldnt get a wrench to fit in there to hold the nut. but it wasnt very time consuming to take out that extra bold.

There is a notch on the tube after the nut on both sides, if you loosen the nut on the opposite side where you can reach the nut and twist the tube, the other side will loosen to finger tight. After that get the specs where you want them tighten the nut you can't reach with your finger so that it touches the tube, then turn the tube into the nut locking them both into place. Then just tighten the nut you can reach and you're done.

I don't seem to have a problem tightening and loosening the nuts when the kits are installed.
You should have the same amount of threads on both sides of the arm, right?

one side is super easy because there is nothing in the way of a tool. the side that is closest to the middle of the car is harder because the locking nut is surrounded. so do you guys just hand loosen and hand tighten the locking nut?
EuroRspec, I'll have to give your way a try. I was actually thinking about it because if you spin the rod it should loosen the locking nut I can't get to with a tool.
When i first put it on and got an alignment, the locking nut wasn't that hard to loosen with yoru hands. I'm thinking some dirt or something got into the threads and maybe its stuck. I'll have to give it a closer look.

I'm planning on installing my camber kit next year, but I've heard people painting them prior to installing to prevent rust issues. Did any of you do that? If so, what over the counter stuff can you buy to paint it? Maybe it'll prevent this issue of not being able to loosen a lock nut?

I would use some grease rather than paint
