Too small? As in the 17" part? It won't if you keep the aspect correct. Is this a track setup?

I think 17s will only look small depending on what wheel it is. What wheels did you get?

I was thinking of getting either Work Emotion CR Kai concave, or Enkei RPF in 17x9.
I've always wanted to run this setup, especially after seeing this TL

^Good choices. I favor the RPF1's over the Works. I think they will look small but good regardless. RPF1's in SBC

nice wheel choice but 17x9 +45 will not be concave the offset must be a lot lower.

I've had 17x9 +45 and they are pretty concave.

concavity isnt only a function of width, the offset plays a role too. that being said, i think the rpf1's would have a fair bit of concavity at that size.
i am looking into buying a set of 18 x 9 +35 TE's and putting on 245 or 255 tires on them... (maybe 235 if the fenders cant take it)
with -1 degree of camber all around it should handle pretty well. we think alike.

Yes I know that offset has more to do with concave than width.
I want to do 18x9 +35 RPFs with 235, but I don't want to roll or run to much camber.

not my cars
newer gen civic w/ 17x9 enkei rpf-1, not sure what offset
i think they were 225 series tires
they don't look concave at all, just a bigger lip
17x9 et44 work emotion cr kai
the 38 offset they have available should be more concave and should fit our cars w/ 225 tires
i think these civics are running 215 series tires
18x9 et 40 w/ 235/40/18
i tried 20 mm spacers instead of the 15 mm that are on there now, but it was rubbing too much
if i had 225 series tires it'd fit fine, but i kinda like having the extra rubber

245 will be too wide and/or tall
i think 17's would look fine, but your car will be crazy low, especially w/ the stretched tires
