Takeda Cold Air Intake
Has anyone installed one yet?
Takeda Intake 2009 Acura TSX 2.4L 4-cyl Cold Air / Short Ram Link Conversion
If so, any comments/feedback.....is it worth the $330, sound clip and any gains?
Thank you, JJ

^ I want these companies to be honest! I won't lie, it looks good (maybe because the Injen brain had a part in this) and it sounds good on the video. I might consider it after some other people make the leap.

... honestly, i think for the most part, intake companies like aem and injen aren't lying about the numbers. but you have to consider. you're not going to get the same results as them on the street because of different components. wind resistance, possibly different aero kit, different dealer options, the dyno'ed results from most companies are the maximum results you can get, but not the average i think. so i dont think it's wrong of them to advertise it, because in actuality, you can get those numbers.

12hp does seem to be a bit on the high side for an intake

could not wait, bought one through e-bay and it showed up last week. Was a really easy and quick install, fitment was good. The car has transformed in sound and jump. I noticed difference, happy so far. I like the filter as it is oiless

Well I will be the first to say... Photos? Did you do any runs before/after the installation? Did you reset the ECU? You're the first one so we are going to look for you to give the details.
Btw, how much did you pay?

He's not the first. There's a few people on the "other" Acura site that have installed this intake already including the guy who's car was used for the design.

There are hundreds of "other" sites. I'd really like to read more on this intake before I dove in. I was a huge Injen fan in the past.
