2009 TSX Intake

I did a search and didn't turn up much...

I am looking for a CAI or SR intake for my 2009 TSX. Everything I found was for the prior gen. Is there anything out? Is there that much of a change since it's still a K20? I did a lot of performance mods on my old car but not doing anything big on this one. I just want to get a little more grunt out of the motor.

Thanks!

i'm not sure i've found a few norm air intakes and short rams, and boxes but none that look too promising. I was also lookin to turbo kits and shti for the k24z which is whats in the tsx but not much coming up, a mechanic brought up the rdx turbo and just slappin it on maybe :-P If you find a good intake let me know, nothing short ram though, not really lookin to suck in the heat from the engine into my "cold air" intake lol

I just shot Injen an email, I have used their CAI on both a 2003 Civic and a 2004 RSX Type-S and have been very happy. I'll keep my fingers crossed as to what they may say.

For those who care I just heard from AEM. I got the generic response, that they don't have an application for the 2009 at this time and no verification if the years prior model will work. That said I'll keep my fingers crossed for something...

I also looked at the engines bays an the sensor and tubing is in a different spot than the prior gen. Oh well..

I searched 2009 Intake in a few different ways. Never even heard of the company and 12.5hp from an intake seems a little odd don't you think?

yea im with you on that. When I first heard about this intake, the guy who offered his car for the R&D said it would give him like 20HP lol. The dyno video claims 12hp and 11tq but I'm still skeptical. It sounds really great though.

Comptech is coming out with a bunch of new products for the 2009 TSX so just be patient. I think the next thing to come out from them are the icebox intake and springs. I've already seen the a picture of the mould so I know it should be out soon

I haven't heard of an intake for the 09s yet, but thought I'd mention that you have a k24, not a k20
